Steriliser Engineer Job Description
This role requires an experienced Steriliser Engineer to investigate industrial irradiator technology and dosimetry methods to improve sterilisation processes. The successful candidate will provide technical and engineering support, including product cycle time development to enhance efficiency. Additionally, they will conduct thorough dosimetry calibration, verification, and analysis to ensure precision. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Science or Engineering, as well as proficiency in statistical analysis techniques and project management. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of sterilisers, guaranteeing adequate Cobalt 60 activity levels to meet manufacturing demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate industrial irradiator technology and dosimetry methods to improve sterilisation processes.
  • Provide technical and engineering support, including product cycle time development to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough dosimetry calibration, verification, and analysis to ensure precision.
  • Report any engineering or radiological issues to management, statutory bodies, and relevant teams promptly.

Salary: Estimated salary range: 90000 - 120000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
