Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Competitive salary (equivalent to NHS Band 6) dependent on experience with excellent benefits.

We're seeking an Advanced Occupational Therapist within Critical Care to join our Occupational Therapy Team at London Bridge Hospital, currently rated Outstanding by the CQC.

Main duties of the job

As an Advanced Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients in critical care. This caseload consists of various post-surgical patients and patients with complex rehabilitation needs. The caseload is constantly changing and dynamic, producing learning opportunities and experience in a wide range of specialties. There are multiple opportunities to engage in training and liaise with the team for continued learning and development.

Job responsibilities

As an Advanced Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients in critical care. This caseload consists of various post-surgical patients and patients with complex rehabilitation needs. Degree in Occupational Therapy.Minimum 2 years experience in managing caseloads in neuro rehabilitation and/or critical care.Ability to provide highly specialised assessment and treatment of oncology and haematology patients.Support to the wider MDT in specialist oncology OT treatments and assessment.Disclosure and Barring Service Check
