Senior Business Development Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Senior Business Development Associate to support our growth by creating new opportunities with prospective clients in the electronics sector.
The ideal candidate will identify and establish connections with key decision-makers at target companies, focusing on those with product ownership, in-house design, and manufacturing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize industry-specific platforms, exhibit lists, and other resources to research and identify potential client companies within our target sectors.
- Making introductory calls to gather information on the company's power supply needs (e.g., use of PSUs and demand) and introduce Ideal Powers' offerings in power supply solutions.
- Capture and manage information on prospective clients, including contact details, decision-making roles, and power supply requirements.
- Assess potential clients based on criteria such as their needs, budget, and purchasing timeline, ensuring accurate data gathering & management.
- Nurture qualified prospects by sharing relevant content, following up consistently, and fostering a connection until they develop into an enquiry.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine strategies that enhance outreach efforts and increase engagement with new prospects.
- Provide regular updates on outreach activities, including key metrics, pipeline progress, and insights for strategy adjustments.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electronics sector and be able to identify opportunities for growth and development.

We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 DOE, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a dynamic working environment.
