Senior Environmental and Planning Lawyer

Our client, a major utilities company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental and Planning Lawyer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing focused, accurate, and timely advice on a range of environmental and planning legal matters, including Environmental Information Regulation queries and managing external legal resources.

As a Senior Environmental and Planning Lawyer, you will have the opportunity to work on interesting and complex projects, collaborating with a dynamic and close-knit team, and taking on managerial responsibilities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice on environmental and planning legal matters
  • Assisting with Environmental Information Regulation queries
  • Managing external legal resources
  • Providing legal support on large-scale programmes and projects
  • Management responsibilities

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Qualified as a lawyer (solicitor, barrister, or equivalent)
  • Experience in Environmental and Planning Law
  • Ability to collaborate well as a team player and take on managerial responsibilities
