Mobile Equipment Engineer

Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Loading Bay Lift Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support, service, and breakdown response across the region.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in field engineering positions, including installing and servicing bespoke lifts, integrated systems, and standard equipment.
- Install and service bespoke lifts, integrated systems, and standard equipment
- Provide onsite technical support for various lifting solutions
- Service lifts and other products to maintain optimal performance
- Deliver end-user training (operator level) to ensure efficient use of equipment
Key Requirements
- Strong background in field engineering with experience in installing and servicing bespoke lifts, integrated systems, and standard equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of installing and operating lifts in specialist material environments (e.g., food/pharmaceuticals)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and understanding of drawings and specifications
- Ability to work independently, managing service territory, customer contact, and company information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Regional coverage with occasional UK travel required
The successful candidate will hold at least NVQ2 qualification and possess 5+ years of experience in lift and dock levellers, door and dock shelters, goods lifts, table lifts, and scissor lifts.
Compensation and Benefits
This permanent position comes with a competitive salary of £34,250 - £39,000 per annum, plus overtime opportunities, a van, and comprehensive training.
