Job Details

Job Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with a range of needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND, including those with physical, sensory, and learning disabilities.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility.
  • Support students with emotional and behavioral difficulties, including those with anxiety and depression.
  • Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure consistent support and communication.

Requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English (C or above).
  • Strong IT skills and experience with educational software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of child development and learning strategies.
