About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to lead our SHE Compliance efforts at our Burton site. As an Asset Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring our operation complies with all environmental, health, and safety regulations while promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor compliance with internal and external standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems.
- Manage the site ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Management Systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, corporate, local authority or other stakeholder requirements.
- Coordinate and facilitate the SHE risk assessment process and assist and advise as needed in developing safe work systems.
- Coordinate site internal and external SHE Training requirements.
- Attend regular site Safety Development Group meetings.
- Coordinate implementing, monitoring and testing site emergency response plans and any associated training requirements.
- Ensure all routine SHE monitoring is completed in accordance with all relevant legislation.
- Conduct site SHE audits and inspections and coordinate 3rd party audits.
