Job Summary
Brook Street is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to oversee the administrative system for Health and Safety within our institution. The successful candidate will also act as the ACOP Compliance Officer, ensuring adherence to guidelines on student accommodation standards.

Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the institution's Health and Safety administrative system
* Assist departments with risk assessments and H&S documentation
* Monitor and review H&S tasks and training requirements
* Coordinate online H&S training courses
* Conduct internal H&S audits and liaise with external auditors
* Maintain currency in H&S legislation and regulations
* Lead on H&S matters for events such as college balls and conferences
* Investigate accident reports and recommend improvements
* Ensure contractor compliance with H&S requirements
* Monitor ACOP compliance for student accommodation

Requirements:
* Articulate in written and spoken English
* Organized and punctual
* Experienced in working across diverse teams
* IT proficient with MS Office applications
* Able to prioritize tasks and work to deadlines
* Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances
* NEBOSH or IOSH training is desirable.
