We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Consultant in Dermatology to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Specialist Medicine Division, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services that reflect best clinical practice within the specialty of Dermatology.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnosing and managing all aspects of general dermatology, including skin cancer and inflammatory skin disease.
- Providing consultant leadership to the supervision of junior medical and nursing teams delivering high-quality outpatient and inpatient care.
- Supporting inpatient referrals to the specialty and providing clinical expertise to referring medical teams.
- Leading the development of local services and working collaboratively with colleagues in other specialties.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- Higher Degree MB BS or equivalent.
- Membership or Fellowship of the MRCP.
- Full Registration with GMC with a licence to practice.
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Dermatology or equivalent.
Desirable qualifications and experience include:
- MD or equivalent.
- BSc accreditation.
- Experience in other relevant medical specialties.
- Completion of courses relevant to Dermatology.
- Advanced training in skin surgery/post CCST fellowship.
