FINTEC recruit Ltd is currently looking for a skilled Assembly Operator / Solderer to join their manufacturing team in Penicuik. This permanent, four-day-a-week role comes with an estimated salary of £25,000 per annum.

The job requires a high level of precision and quality in assembly operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for wire panels and connectors using precise soldering and crimp joints, forming wire looms and cables with finesse, and soldering surface mount and conventional components onto PCBs.

The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in electronics assembly, along with skills in hands-on soldering and assembly work from manufacturing to product testing and despatch. Additionally, the ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings for both production and prototype PCBs is necessary.
