Career Opportunities in Critical Care

We are seeking motivated and ambitious Band 5 nurses to join our team in the Critical Care Department at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, a 10-bed combined intensive and high dependency care unit treating around 650 patients a year. As a critical care nurse specialist, you will have the opportunity to transform patient care and develop your skills in a challenging and complex environment.

Our excellent clinical educators' team will provide you with a comprehensive induction and training programme where theoretical knowledge will be combined with practical skills required for you to perform at the best of your capabilities. You will be based in a friendly and supportive team that delivers high-quality patient-centred care in a busy setting.

The ideal candidate will have NMC registration and 6 months post-qualification experience within an acute clinical setting. In exchange for your services, we offer generous annual leave entitlement starting at 27 days, increasing to 29 days after five years of service, and 33 days after 10 years of service. Additionally, you will enjoy membership of the NHS Pension Scheme, flexible working opportunities, and enhanced hourly rates for unsociable hours.
