Rotational Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Occupational Therapist to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This rotational position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience and develop skills in various specialties, including acute hospital care, inpatient rehabilitation, and community therapy.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills and knowledge in assessment and rehabilitation, working alongside experienced clinicians and other members of the multidisciplinary team. The Trust is committed to ongoing staff training and development, including a preceptorship program and regular access to clinical and managerial supervision.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy, with experience of working in a multidisciplinary healthcare team and a wide range of student placements. Membership of a Professional Body and evidence of postgraduate training in a specialist area are desirable. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and logically.
