Job Title: Central Government Employment Law Specialist

Location: Central London

Job Type: Full Time

Contract: 6 months+

Salary: £61,200 per annum (equivalent to £31 PAYE or £43 Umbrella per hour)

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a well-established Central Government Organisation. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Employment Law and Litigation, with previous employment litigation experience in various circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice on Employment Law matters
  • Conducting settlement negotiations with opposing representatives
  • Employment based litigation and proceedings in courts, appeals and tribunals
  • Interviewing witnesses and recording witness statements

Requirements:

  • A qualified solicitor or barrister
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with clients and parties from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience of a busy litigation caseload, with considerable autonomy
  • A good drafting and written ability
