Contract: 6 months+
Salary: £61,200 per annum (equivalent to £31 PAYE or £43 Umbrella per hour)
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a well-established Central Government Organisation. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Employment Law and Litigation, with previous employment litigation experience in various circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing advice on Employment Law matters
- Conducting settlement negotiations with opposing representatives
- Employment based litigation and proceedings in courts, appeals and tribunals
- Interviewing witnesses and recording witness statements
Requirements:
- A qualified solicitor or barrister
- Excellent communication skills to deal with clients and parties from diverse backgrounds
- Experience of a busy litigation caseload, with considerable autonomy
- A good drafting and written ability
