Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Commissioning Manager to join the Learning Disabilities and Autism Team within the Provider Collaborative. The successful applicant will join an established Commissioning Team that focuses on inpatient and community services pathways and initiatives.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Lead on agreed Learning Disability and Autism commissioning projects, with a focus on inpatient and community services pathways and initiatives.
  • Undertake contract and financial management and the completion of national returns for their lead areas.
  • Provide healthcare commissioning advice and guidance to support all Partner organisations within the Provider Collaborative.
  • Work at a national and regional level to develop and deliver key project aims that will support health improvement across the Learning Disabilities and Autism agenda.
  • Actively engage with a wide range of partners within the health, social care, and local communities, including service users and carers.
  • Work with the Provider Collaborative governance structures and processes and ensure Standing Financial Instructions are adhered to.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of changing NHS and partner agency policies and be able to interpret these for the wider team.
  • Deliver an effective service ensuring community equivalence in healthcare delivery and experience for patients.
