About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to play a key role in shaping our marketing strategy and tactics across Europe. As a member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for coordinating market research activities, analyzing regional markets, customers, and competitors to inform product positioning and messaging.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing, sales, or business development. Your excellent communication skills, writing skills, and ability to think creatively will enable you to work effectively with internal and external partners. Proficiency in CRM and digital marketing platforms, as well as expertise in analytical tools like Power BI, is essential.

The Benefits:

As a Marketing Specialist at Hydro International, you can expect a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave entitlement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct or manage third-party market research activities for Europe
  • Analyze regional markets, customers, and competitors to align product and portfolio positioning and messaging
  • Analyze results of marketing activities to determine campaign effectiveness and inform further marketing objectives
  • Lead development for the Europe regions using Lead Forensics, planning portal, tender websites
  • Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate marketing campaigns and activities in Europe
  • Create, translate, and adapt marketing collateral (e.g., news articles, marketing literature, social posts, blogs) for European countries/regions in line with product and company messaging and brand guidelines
  • Create, edit, and upload content to the company website, including marketing literature, news articles, events, and photos
  • Work with the Marketing Manager UK to create social media plans for the UK and Europe and assist in creating and collating content, including photography, video, blogs, and articles
  • Run sponsored social media advertising for specific campaigns as needed
  • Support local Sales teams with sales enablement materials, information, and training
  • Report regularly on marketing campaign and KPI performance
  • Organize, support, and administer events in the UK and Europe
  • Coordinate the media data and administration of press release placement, liaising with relevant journals in Europe
  • Liaise with the Europe Hydro team and distributors to find relevant projects that would make good case studies
