- Leadership and Collaboration: You will lead underwriting surgeries and develop close relationships with brokers to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.
- Strategic Planning: You will work with our management team to develop and execute the local underwriting strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
- Process Improvement: You will identify and implement underwriting process efficiencies to enhance our team's performance and productivity.
- Insurance Experience: You must have previous experience in Professional Indemnity and/or Property & Casualty Underwriting.
- Broker Relationships: You will have experience managing and interacting with insurance brokers, with a strong understanding of their needs and challenges.
- Communication Skills: You will possess excellent communication, relationship management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a referral point for larger, more complex cases.
