Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Education Support Specialist to join our team at Randstad Education. As a key member of our primary education team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of young children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Teaching and Learning: Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons, ensuring that the needs of all children are met.
  • Classroom Support: Provide one-to-one support to children, helping them to develop their skills and confidence in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Resource Preparation: Prepare and maintain resources and materials to support teaching and learning, including activities and games to engage children.
  • Communication and Liaison: Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that children receive the support they need.
  • Child Development: Monitor and record children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and making recommendations for future support.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Personal Qualities: A passion for supporting children's learning and development, with a commitment to providing high-quality support and care.
