We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Specialist to join our Central Engineering team. As a key member of the project engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering projects across our national site network, working closely with stakeholders, colleagues, and external suppliers.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team as a Capital Project Lead. You will be responsible for managing large-scale engineering projects, working closely with Innovation, NPD, Central, and Ops Engineering teams, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering process on national projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, PUWER legislation, and company regulations.
  • Manage CAPEX budgets, implement solutions, and provide project management skills.
  • Use purchasing and supplier negotiation skills to secure new plant machinery, while effectively managing supplier contracts and agreements.
Requirements
  • Extensive project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or fast-moving consumer goods environment.
  • Project engineering and hands-on operational engineering expertise.
  • Working knowledge of CAD or similar software and ability to read drawings and interpret designs.
  • Experienced in stakeholder management and able to build strong relationships across the business.
  • Engineering qualifications such as HND, HNC, BEng, or equivalent.
