Engineering Production Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Production Worker to join our team. As an Engineering Production Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with or completing the construction, production, and assembly of company products using a variety of hand tools or power tools.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with or complete the construction, production, and assembly of company products using hand tools or power tools.
- Fabricate and assemble sub-assemblies with sufficient lead time to enable others to complete products as scheduled.
- Liaise with the Workshop Manager to implement work schedules and ensure a high standard of quality production.
- Train to carry out the maximum range of tasks within the workshop department and comply with all aspects of clients' Health and Safety procedures.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a good engineering aptitude and a practical nature and work ethic. A good understanding of working from technical drawings is a distinct advantage.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £11.44 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for overtime. The basic hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday, with lunch from 1:00-1:30pm.
