About the Role:
Care UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Second Chef to join our team. As a Second Chef, you will play a vital role in leading the kitchen operation, developing nutritious and diet-sensitive meals, and managing stock control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team in the smooth running of the kitchen operation
- Develop and implement menu design and planning to meet the dietary needs of residents
- Manage stock control and adhere to food cost guidelines
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations in the kitchen
- Train, supervise, and develop a team to help them reach their full potential
