About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Second Chef to join our team at Care UK. As a Second Chef, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our kitchen operation, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team in the efficient management of kitchen operations
  • Develop and implement menu designs that cater to the diverse needs of our residents
  • Manage stock control and adhere to food cost guidelines to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  • Train, supervise, and develop a team of chefs to help them reach their full potential
