Job Title: Stroke Medicine Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stroke Medicine Consultant to join our team at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to lead our Stroke Medicine services and contribute to the development of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strengthen delivery of high-quality stroke medicine services across the hospital and community.
  • Commitment to HASU and TIA clinics.
  • Contribute to the regional Stroke thrombolysis rota.
  • Provide leadership and expertise in the management of stroke medicine across the emergency pathway.
  • Develop high-quality, patient-centered stroke services and innovative practices in clinical patient management.
  • Teaching and training undergraduate and postgraduate doctors.
  • Quality assurance of the service and individual practice.
Requirements
  • Must be on the specialist register for Medicine or within 6 months of being admitted to the register for trainees, if currently in a training programme in the UK.
  • CCT in Stroke Medicine.
