NHS National Services Scotland invites applications for a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (CAAP Adult) based at Ayrshire Central Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychological services to adults experiencing mental health challenges.
Your primary responsibilities will include providing psychological therapies, maintaining accurate clinical records, and collaborating with clinical psychology colleagues and other mental health professionals to provide a cohesive psychology service to patients.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a relevant degree in psychology, eligible for GBR, and a post-graduate Master's level degree in Psychological Therapy. You should also have relevant clinical experience, awareness of your competence boundaries, and the ability to work sensitively with diverse individuals.
A driving licence is essential for this role, and you will be required to attend in-house and external courses related to computer training, moving and handling, management of aggression and violence, and lone worker guidelines.
The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, based on location and qualifications.
