FitzRoy's adult care services in Uckfield support individuals with learning disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will be part of an established and caring team, working in a fast-paced environment with various activities and opportunities. Our residents enjoy participating in activities like day services, social outings, fundraising, and visits to the local pub. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents have access to the activities they choose to join in with, making a positive impact on their lives.

What We Offer

  • £12.49 per hour weekdays and £13.73 weekends for Waking Night shifts.
  • Full-time position with 37.5 hours per week.
  • Current overtime pay of +¢2.50 for shifts beyond 37.5 hours per week.
  • Time and a half or double time for public holidays.
  • 30 days holiday when you start.

Your Role

As a Support Worker, you will support individuals differently to their unique needs, performing light household duties and assisting with personal care, such as showers and baths. You will be confident in delivering care and support, transforming lives for people with disabilities.

What Our Residents Need

  • Support with personal care.
  • Assistance with household duties.
  • Encouragement and support to engage in activities.

Support Workers work ten-hour shifts, with weekend working being essential. When you work weekends, you will have days off during the week.
