We are seeking a highly skilled actuary to join our Retirement team, which focuses on Individual annuities and ERM lines of business.

  • Located in London, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with large datasets and contribute to business growth.

As a Quantitative Actuary, you will be responsible for analysing large datasets, supporting technical pricing, and developing business initiatives.

  • You will work closely with investment front office teams to discuss business projections and ensure suitable strategic asset allocation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK regulatory regimes, individual annuity markets, and capital modelling.

  • You will also need to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to communicate complex issues to senior stakeholders.

This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, stakeholder management, and business development.

About the Role
  • Pricing and Business Development: Support the development of pricing strategies and business initiatives.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse large datasets to inform business decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with investment front office and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
Requirements
  • Fellow of Institute of Actuaries (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of UK regulatory regimes.
  • Experience with capital modelling and profit testing.
  • Strong communication skills.
Salary Range:

£100,000 - £130,000 per annum.
