Deputy Team Leader - Gynaecology Theatres

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Theatre Practitioner to work closely with our existing team to support our excellent team and continuously develop our elective service, meeting the needs of our service users.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a keen interest in improving and developing their leadership skills to enable management of staff, and be an effective role model, demonstrating high levels of clinical competence and expertise.

You will need to have a flexible attitude to work, be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and have the capacity to go the extra mile.

  • To support staff, ensuring the provision of high quality patient care in the most efficient and safe manner in accordance with Divisional and NUH policies and procedures.
  • Able to use PowerPoint, Word and Excel to produce documents and presentations.
Training and Qualifications
  • HCPC/NMC Registration.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development and recent study relevant to theatres/recovery.
  • Junior/Supervisory management course.
Resource Management
  • Ensures resources are available and used to facilitate quality patient care.
Education
  • Assists with the development of education and training.
