Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Are you passionate about data protection and compliance? Do you have experience in managing data privacy projects and ensuring compliance with regulations? Oxfam GB is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Protection team.

About the Role

We are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record of managing data privacy projects, including conducting privacy impact assessments and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. You will provide expert advice on data protection issues, conduct privacy impact assessments, and deliver training to staff to embed best practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage data protection risks and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  • Provide expert advice on data protection issues to various stakeholders within the organisation
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments and deliver training to staff
  • Play a key role in helping us build and develop a network of local data protection focal points
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Demonstrated experience in a privacy or data protection role, preferably within a large organisation
  • Proven track record of managing data privacy projects, including conducting privacy impact assessments and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
  • Experience in providing strategic advice and guidance on data protection matters to various stakeholders within an organisation
  • In-depth understanding of data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR and other relevant privacy frameworks
