Senior IT Systems Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Systems Architect to join our team at SRG. This is a key role in shaping the future of aerospace technology and contributing to the delivery of cutting-edge solutions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, developing innovative solutions for the aerospace industry. You will be responsible for assessing needs and ideas according to the IM End to End Process, applying agile techniques where necessary, and ensuring the quality of projects' scope, feasibility, and business cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with counterparts in key partners to achieve enterprise goals
  • Evaluate leading aerospace/defence client's compliance with enterprise standards and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and lead Business Case creation
  • Participate in agile scrums as required
  • Support the creation of feasible projects
  • Propose or validate key technical solutions and lead design reviews
  • Ensure all solution risks are identified and mitigated
  • Provide subject matter technical expertise for issues and opportunities
  • Gather and disseminate technical lessons learned and contribute to action plans for agreed improvements

Requirements

  • Essential - Designing technical solutions that meet business needs within security constraints
  • Essential - Documenting designs clearly from an architectural perspective
  • Desirable - Understanding the lifecycle of information systems, including acquisition and development of new technology, with a focus on automation
  • Desirable - Knowledge of application integration approaches, such as use of OLSC
  • Desirable - Familiarity with industry infrastructure and operating standards, such as SQL, DB2, Active Directory, Virtual Machines, WebSphere

Compensation

The salary for this role is approximately $120,000 per annum, based on experience.
