Job Title: School Site Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Site Supervisor to join our team at a Secondary school in Chorley. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the school's facilities and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out security procedures for school buildings and grounds, including opening and closing of school premises, gates, doors, windows, and fire exits.
  • Regularly checking the proper operation and function of alarms and fire equipment, and ensuring emergency exits are not obstructed.
  • Liaising with emergency services, including calling out as required.
  • Reporting acts of theft or vandalism.
  • General maintenance duties around the school, including litter picking and cleaning.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a Caretaker, Maintenance, or Site Supervisory role, preferably in a school setting.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 11:00am-19:00pm.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to purchase a new DBS.
