Site Engineering Manager Job Description

Fairport Tunnelling Technologies (FTT) has become a part of pxGroup, and as a result, we have rebranded to pxFairport. We are an Engineering and Projects Delivery business with expertise in bulk material handling systems, tunnelling, aggregates, and ports.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Site Engineering Manager to join our team at our Adlington site. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sites and Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil site teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate site mobilization, contractor, and staff inductions
  • Ensure necessary welfare, documentation, and plant are in place for site works to commence on time and within budget
  • Manage site teams, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil personnel
  • Produce key site documents, such as Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Lift Plans
Requirements
  • Formal Site Management qualification (CSCS Black or equivalent)
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification
  • EMSS Safety Passport qualification
