£25,000 - £30,000 + Car / allowance + Progression to Project Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineering graduate looking to kickstart their career in a Site Engineer position with a leading international sub-contractor who are experts in the water industry. You will receive full hands-on training and development.

Are you a Civil Engineering graduate looking to become a Site Engineer? Do you want to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and growing company?

This specialist subcontractor is a market leader in the groundworks industry, working with tier one principal contractors on unique water projects. They are a family-run company that has thrived in a niche industry, working on Civils projects within the waterworks sector.

This company recognizes the importance of people in their business and has a history of hiring motivated graduates who have propelled through the business. They are looking for a Civil Engineering graduate who is seeking thorough training with the promise of a stable career with progression opportunities.

You will work on site alongside experienced Site Engineers, initially learning the ropes and eventually taking on responsibilities such as understanding client requirements, overseeing operatives, assisting Project Managers with payment applications, and ensuring health and safety projects are being adhered to on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ambitious graduate, ideally with a year's civil experience, looking to take the next step in your career where you will gain ample knowledge and skills whilst progressing your career and increasing your earnings.
  2. Full hands-on training
  3. Understanding client requirements
  4. Overseeing operatives
  5. Ensuring Health and Safety is being adhered to onsite
The Person:
  1. Civil Engineering or Geology degree
  2. Ideally 1 Year Civil Engineering experience - Could be a placement year
  3. Motivated individual looking to progress
  4. Full UK Driver's license
