About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at The Hare and Hounds Newbury. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our front-of-house teams to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate front-of-house teams to achieve high standards of customer service and sales performance.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and implement company-wide initiatives.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and other operational expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a high-end restaurant environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
