The Role:

We are seeking a 3-6 years PQE property lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience of advising developers/landowners procuring development of their land, ideally large-scale, complex mixed-use or residential led development. They will be a problem solver, able to work with clients to understand their project and help them find the best way to deliver it.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on development agreements, master development agreements, and lease structuring
  • Securing funding and investment for development projects
  • Collaborating with colleagues across our UK offices to provide an all-round service on complex deals
  • Working with clients to understand their project and help them find the best way to deliver it

Our Property Development & Investment Team in Birmingham is a key part of our UK Property Group. We advise clients across the whole spectrum of their real estate requirements, covering acquisition, development, funding, investment, and asset management. Work Highlights:

  • Advising Lendlease on the delivery of the £3.5bn Silvertown development in London Docklands
  • Advising Kier Property Developments on the delivery of the £700m Arena Central development in Birmingham
  • Advising Cornwall Council on the planning, delivery, and investment in the Langarth Garden Village development

About You:

We are looking for a 3-6 years PQE property lawyer who is a problem solver, able to work with clients to understand their project and help them find the best way to deliver it. The ideal candidate will have experience of advising developers/landowners procuring development of their land, ideally large-scale, complex mixed-use or residential led development. They will be a team player, able to forge strong working relationships with colleagues in an agile environment.
