Job Title: Senior Architectural Technologist

Location: Barnsley

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 dependent on experience

Job Type: Permanent

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join our innovative architectural practice in Barnsley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering creative and cutting-edge designs, working closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead technical projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality designs and timely delivery.
  2. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement innovative design solutions, staying up-to-date with the latest software and designs.
  3. Manage a small team, providing guidance and training to emergent staff members.
  4. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring effective communication and presentation of design concepts.
  5. Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of current building regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  6. Proactively seek opportunities for self-development, staying ahead of industry trends and advancements.

Requirements:

  1. Chartered or member of CIAT
  2. Degree or HND/HNC in Architectural Technology
  3. Extensive experience post-qualification in a UK Architectural practice
  4. Strong technical abilities and proficiency in Revit
  5. Effective problem-solving skills and excellent communication and presentation abilities
  6. Proactive and positive approach to self-development
  7. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other professionals
  8. Manage a small team and assist with training emergent staff members
  9. Thorough knowledge of current building regulations
  10. Driven to keep up to date with the latest software and designs
  11. Proven record across the technical stages having worked on projects from concept to completion
  12. Live locally to the Barnsley area
