About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Planning Lawyer with experience in handling complex planning matters, including advising on development control, planning policy, enforcement, and compulsory purchase orders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert legal guidance on s.106 agreements, planning inquiries, and appeals, ensuring alignment with local and national planning policies.
- Liaising with planning officers, senior management, and external stakeholders, offering detailed legal advice to support sound decision-making.
- Drafting and negotiating legal agreements, maintaining case records, and preparing reports for presentation to committees.
The successful candidate will have a valid practising certificate as a Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales or an equivalent legal qualification.
