We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Haematology Nurse to join our team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a Haematology Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Haematology/Oncology ward.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in Oncology and Haematology, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practice and the ability to work in a demanding and busy environment. You will be a team player, able to inspire and motivate others, and have a desire to learn and develop new skills.

The main duties of the job include taking responsibility for the organisation and day-to-day management of a team of patients, leading and managing the ward team, and working closely with the Ward Manager, Deputy Sister/Deputy Charge Nurse, and Multidisciplinary Team to provide high-quality patient care.

  • Demonstrates an understanding of evidence based practice

  • Comprehensive applied anatomy and physiology relevant to clinical area
  • Awareness of current developments in healthcare and professional nursing relevant to area
  • Awareness of clinical governance relevant to role
