Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at Childbase Partnership as an Apprentice in our West Cambridge Day Nursery. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our team to create and maintain safe and supportive learning environments that promote children's development and well-being.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that enhance children's learning and development, and complete observations linked to the early years curriculum.
  • Interact positively with all nursery users, including children, parents, and colleagues, and work in partnership with them to ensure all children's individual needs are met.
  • Adhere to nursery routines and policies, and seek guidance from your leadership team as required.
  • Manage your time effectively to ensure you submit your coursework by the deadlines set by your trainer/assessor.

Requirements
  • Documentation to evidence your right to work in the UK.
  • Photographic ID in the form of a valid passport or driving license.
  • Official documentation to evidence your national insurance number.
  • Access to a computer to undertake the initial online assessment and submit ongoing coursework.
  • Residency in the UK for at least 3 years.
  • Comfortable with traveling to and from group training sessions in Newport Pagnell.
