Queens' College Day Nursery is a small **Day Nursery** situated in central Cambridge (Newnham) and is a beautiful, purpose-built property in a quiet and pretty location, surrounded by beautiful greenery, trees and wildlife, with wonderful access to woodland walks and outdoor facilities. They have the capacity for **25 children** split between three rooms; 0-2 years, 2-3 years and 3-5 years. The nursery employs 8 full and part-time staff and is open from 8.30am - 5.15pm 52 weeks a year.

The Mrs. Cameron Day Nursery is a small, open planned nursery within the picturesque and tranquil location of Gonville and Caius College in the centre of Cambridge. They have the capacity for **25 children** split between three rooms; 0-2 years, 2-3 years and 3-5 years. The nursery employs 8 full and part-time staff and is open from 8.30am - 5.15pm 52 weeks a year.

Wigwam Nurseries Ltd are a small group of 5 day nurseries. Each nursery has been carefully adapted and refurbished to an extremely high standard and is well equipped with natural, high quality, stimulating resources.

Wigwam Nurseries Ltd believes in providing quality childcare in a welcoming, stimulating and caring environment. Each nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and encompasses a child centred approach to play and learning. They adopt and work towards a creative curriculum, a passion for open ended investigation and positive outdoor experiences. **What will I be doing as a Nursery Apprentice?**
- Learning how to be an outstanding Nursery Practitioner, whilst working alongside experienced colleagues. You will attend webinars during the day and complete written college work at home. You will be supported by a mentor throughout the training course, which takes 12-18 months to complete.
- Building positive and trusting relationships with children and outstanding parent partnerships.
- Providing a safe, hygienic, caring and stimulating environment for the children.
- Ensuring that the physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and care provided to children is of the highest standard.
- Planning, carrying out and recording fun, inspirational and educational play and learning opportunities.

**What are the entry requirements?**
- English & Maths GCSE's at grade C or functional skills level 2 in English & Maths is required.

**What are the working hours?**
- The nursery staff work five days, Monday to Friday between 8.30am-5.15pm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £8.27 per hour
