Water Hygiene Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Water Hygiene Engineer to join our team in Tunbridge Wells. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of water hygiene across our sites.

As a Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer, you will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to enable you to become a leading expert in your field. Our experienced trainers will guide you through every stage of your development, from theoretical knowledge to practical application.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Weekly flushing of water systems
  • Monitoring water temperature to ensure optimal performance
  • Cleaning and descaling shower facilities to maintain high standards of hygiene
  • Inspection and cleaning of cold-water storage tanks to prevent contamination
  • Servicing Thermal Mixing Valves (TMVs) to guarantee precise temperature control
  • Annual inspection of cold-water storage tanks to ensure compliance with regulations

Required Skills:

  • GCSE Maths & English qualifications
  • Proficiency in IT skills, particularly data recording on smartphones using service apps
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, working efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Clear and confident communication skills, essential for interacting with colleagues and clients
  • A strong focus on standards, systems, procedures, and processes
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and a desire to continuously learn and improve
  • A valid full clean driving license is mandatory
  • Occasional overnight stays may be required for travel within your region

Estimated Salary Range: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary package that reflects your value to our organisation.
