Service Technician Escalators-Nights

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician Escalators-Nights to join our team at Schindler Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our lift and escalator equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out routine servicing of lift and escalator equipment, including minor repair work and the routine replacement of components.
- Rectify and reduce faults on lift and escalator equipment in cases of breakdown and check to confirm correct functioning.
- Conduct thorough inspections and checks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of lift and escalator equipment.
- Work in accordance with Schindler Group's safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current UK legal requirements.
- Contribute to the Company's safety objectives by maintaining and monitoring current safety systems under their direct control.
- Experience in lift and escalator servicing, maintenance, or repairs preferred.
- Qualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in lift and escalator maintenance or equivalent.
- Willingness to work towards Schindler Certification Level 3 Red.
- Advanced electrical and mechanical knowledge, including multi-brand equipment.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to deadlines and within efficiencies.
- Good communication skills at different levels, including clients, service leaders, and inspectors.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to use hands, arms, and feet for repetitive lifting and to operate various hand and power tools.
- Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills, as well as good administration skills and punctuality.
- Full UK driving license.
