Claims Team Manager

At The Recruiter Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Claims Team Manager to join our Central Chelmsford Office Location.

We require a National Insurer with excellent leadership skills to lead and manage a team of claims handlers, ensuring they provide high standards of customer service. The role involves motivating the team to work efficiently and achieving targets and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing a team of claims handlers to deliver exceptional customer service
- Motivating the team to achieve targets and personal goals
- Management of team workflow to ensure all absences and holidays are covered
- Monthly 1 to 1 meetings with team, completing appraisals within required timescales
- Overseeing and monitoring the lifecycle of the teams' claims
- Identifying training needs in the team and implementing necessary training
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being able to communicate in a clear, concise and structured manner
- Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
- Good working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Average salary for this position is £32,000 per annum, negotiable.
