As a Registered Homes Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our new home, providing effective leadership and management to a team of dedicated staff.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in children's residential care, with experience in managing a team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. You will be responsible for implementing policies and procedures, managing resources, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our young people.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management to a team of staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and a safe working environment.
- Implement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of staff and resources.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive induction process for new employees, ensuring they are effectively introduced to the home and its policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular reviews with new employees during their probationary period, managing progress and shortfalls.
- Ensure all staff are annually appraised, and required standards of performance are being achieved.
Requirements:
- Strong background in children's residential care, with experience in managing a team.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to implement policies and procedures.
- Ability to manage resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of staff and resources.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, young people, and stakeholders.
