About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Department Manager to join our team at our Customer Fulfilment Centre in Erith, Kent. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the performance of a designated department within the warehouse, ensuring all targets are met without loss in performance to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily running of site operations, ensuring all aspects of site safety and quality of service are met.
  • Manage the performance of a designated department within the warehouse, ensuring all targets are met without loss in performance to the business.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics management role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance.
