Job Summary:

As a European Football Assignment Editor at Getty Images, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality visual content to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide coordination services to a Digital Image Manager, ensuring that clients' photographic needs are met efficiently. This includes coordinating with external client Picture Desk, assigning editors to shifts, briefing editors on stakeholder deliverables, and training editors on new tools and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coordination services to a Digital Image Manager to meet clients' photographic needs
  • Coordinate with external client Picture Desk to assist with editorial deliverables
  • Brief editors on stakeholder deliverables and train them on new tools and services
  • Assist with photography delivery for European football competitions and events
  • Coordinate stakeholder requirements for the creation of briefs for photographers
  • Consult editorial teams, colleagues, and partners about available image content and suggest possible online and offline uses
  • Coordinate the delivery of digital assets to stakeholders, internal and external
  • Create new users and assign roles and permissions based on requirements
  • Ensure tagging principles are followed on all assets and metadata meets client requirements
  • Update and enhance metadata where required
  • Train integrated AI tools consistently
  • Coordinate the production of graphics and logos in line with client standards
  • Oversee the shared mailbox and answer digital library-related service queries
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the Getty Images editorial team
  • Manage logistic arrangements in deploying photographers to events and photo shoots

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the editorial photography industry
  • Keen awareness of European Football
  • Keen picture judgement, advanced knowledge, and experience with industry-standard editing tools
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with industry-standard editing tools, Adobe Photoshop, and Digital Asset Management (DAM) software
  • Ability to work flexible, non-traditional hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment accurately, while maintaining thorough attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant Degree preferred
  • An additional language is advantageous, however not essential
