Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Royal Navy Training Specialist in Oceanography and Meteorology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to the Royal Navy, ensuring that our trainees receive the best possible education and training.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver professional training in Oceanography and Meteorology
  • Instruct in Mathematics and Science related to these subjects
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Set and mark assignments up to foundation degree or equivalent level
  • Provide subject matter expertise input into the Training Design activities
Requirements:
  • BSc or higher in Oceanography/Meteorology or a close equivalent
  • Practical forecasting experience is desirable
  • Hold, or have held, WMO258 Accreditation / AMF or equivalent Aviation Forecasting Qualification (desirable)
  • Any teaching/training experience would be beneficial
  • Must be able to gain SC clearance
