Early Years Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Early Years Officer to join our team at Tynecastle Nursery School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 2-5 years.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for working with children, families, and staff to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes learning and development. You will be required to work shift patterns within the setting, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, with some late shifts on rotation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 2-5 years
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive environment
- Support children's learning and development through play-based activities
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
