Role Purpose

As a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, quality, and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure platforms.

As a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring our cloud-based infrastructure services, ensuring that they are running smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with our engineering organization to innovate and deliver software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute operational changes to cloud-based infrastructure services.
  • Provide operational support and coordinate with other teams during incidents that may impact service.
  • Work to improve the reliability, quality, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure.
  • Continually measure and optimize system performance.
  • Enable the engineering organization to innovate and deliver with greater speed and safety.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in production 24/7 high-availability SaaS environments based on AWS preferred.
  • Knowledge of AWS tools and products, that follow the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Experience of CI/CD such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps etc desired.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation a plus.
  • Some scripting skills in various languages such as Python, BASH, and/or PowerShell.
  • Working alongside development functions delivering software within an agile development environment.
