Director of Building Quality

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Building Quality to lead our Building Surveying team in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-profile residential and educational projects, driving business growth and developing innovative solutions. About the Role
This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of building surveying principles and practices, as well as a strong background in contracts administration. The successful candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance practices, including familiarity with UK building regulations, and excellent leadership skills, able to motivate and guide junior team members towards achieving shared goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee Quality Control Processes: Ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality projects across various sectors.
- Develop and Implement Innovative Solutions: To drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide Expert Advice: On building compliance, quality, and regulatory issues to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: To strengthen client relationships and maintain a positive reputation for the company.
- Strengthen Internal Processes: Through regular progress updates and feedback sessions, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Chartered Status: With at least 7 years of experience in building surveying, preferably in a senior capacity.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving shared goals.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Verbal and written communication, with a focus on clear report writing and client-facing engagement.
- Familiarity with Industry Standards: Including UK building regulations, with a comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance practices.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel within the UK as required for site inspections and meetings.
