The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a leading cancer centre in Europe, renowned for its innovative approach to nursing care and pioneering new treatments. We are seeking an experienced nurse with advanced skills in Gynaecology to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive advanced nursing services to patients with Gynaecological tumours.
  • Work collaboratively with the surgical team to manage gynaecology surgical patients in in-patient and out-patient areas.
  • Contribute to the development of services within the Trust and participate in quality improvement projects.
Person Specification:
  • First-level registration and a first-level degree in a relevant specialty.
  • MSc or working towards in a relevant subject.
  • Relevant formal teaching/mentoring experience.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Post-registration qualification in cancer nursing.
  • Non-medical prescribing qualification.
  • Advanced physical assessment qualification.
Desirable:
  • Demonstrable experience in a range of cancer care settings.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Clinical skills, including venepuncture and cannulation.
  • Experience in a specialist gynaecology or oncology nursing role.
  • Good leadership qualities, including delegation and coordination of teams.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to interpret and implement new policies into workplace procedures.
