About the Role

The Procurement Manager will oversee the organization's procurement activities, ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects across the M&E sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in M&E procurement and a proven track record in managing complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new procurement strategies to improve tender margins.
  • Interpret technical drawings, reports, and specifications to ensure accurate product and service procurement.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including pre-construction teams, operations teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Prepare accurate purchase orders, reports, and records.
  • Liaise with site teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of plant and materials.
  • Review quotes and negotiate competitive rates and terms.
  • Comfortably challenge suppliers in a professional manner when expectations are not met.
  • Hold a Construction qualification of CIPS.
  • Have 10 years' experience in procurement planning and delivering project supply chain.
  • Have MEP experience and demonstrate exposure to the M&E sector.
  • Possess leadership skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ensure policy compliance and team development.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, coordinating requirements of project teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to achieve a common outcome.
  • Hold a DBS check and a legal right to work in the UK.
